Opening.
All wearing black, a group of people are standing around an unknown grave. All are crying except a girl at the centre if the group - she stairs at the grave with no emotion on her face.

( Crying should be fairly loud in comparison to other background noise ) Camera zooms to girls face, she blinks and camera zooms out to a different location - shes at a party, sitting on her own she is approached by girl two.

Girl two- Babe..you okay?
Girl- Ohh im fine its just...just its been a month today, i miss him so much.
Girl two- ohh come on he wouldnt want you to be upset would he? come on and have a drink
Girl- (shouts) I DONT WANT A BLOODY DRINK.....im sorry, i just dont feel like partying. I need time.
Girl two- Its okay, come on ill take you home.

Girl two grabs her hand and they slowly make their way out the door. Down the road the conversation is dry as girl two trys to make conversation.

Girl Two - So hows your mum?
(No responce.)
- id hate to think what your going through, i mean u were so close to your brother and for him to just...

(A tear falls from girls eye. Her friend notices and  stops, grabs her and holds her tight.)

Girl two- Im so sorry, i really am but if u talk about it itll help...i think (notices her friend shaking)
Babe whats up??

She turns around to see girl looking up the road. They both see a figure standing there. Girl one shouts "hello" theres no movement so they decide to take a short cut. As they do they hear sounds of fast footsteps behind them which are getting quicker and quicker. Girl runs as fast as she can forgetting her friend was with her. She turns round a corner and stops.

Girl- what the hell whas that.( Her friend isnt there) She peers round the cornder and as she does a figure appears behind her. You cannot see any facial features. It touches her on the shoulder. BLACK OUT!

Group film project- Viktim

We are going to work on a film in the horror genre whcih will be called 'Viktim'. I am in the process of making the film with Jaymie Ebrada and Mark Taylor. We are expecting the film to be a '15' so that it is aimed at a teenage audience.

Plot:
Its the anniversery of the death of a girls brother. We see the girl and her family mourning the loss beside his grave where the girl shows no emotion. We then see the girl at a party when she then leaves early with her friend with fatal concequences as they are followed by a mysterious shadowy figure.

Sound Research

As we are planning on doing a horror film the sound is extremly important and is seen as one of the vital componants in a horror film. For example you would want stuff like hearbeats to build tension and music like playing the organ and building up the speed to build tension. Silence would also need to be used effectivley to build tension, suspense and anxiety.

Certificate Research

As we are doing a horror film the certificate that we use must be looked into with a lot of detail as if you get the certificate wrong it falls back onto the you ( the producer ) Many horror films range from a 15 rating to an 18 depended on whats in them. The reason that people of that certain age watch these films rather than younger viewers who may become upset by the film.
The 'u' rating stands for universal meaning suitable for all ages but mainly children above the age of 4. The film should have a positive outcome and have reassuring counterbalances to any violence, threat or horror.
'PG' (Parental Guidance) means that children below the age of eight should be accomunied buy an adult and parents must considor the content before sending childre 12 and under to see the film.
12A means that children bbelow the age of 12 may only view the film if they are accomponied by an adult and 12 is only used in video works ( buying dvd's ) in which you have to be 12 or older to purchase the content.
No-one younger than 15 may see a ‘15’ film in a cinema. No-one younger than 15 may rent or buy a ‘15’ rated video work.
No-one younger than 18 may see an ‘18’ film in a cinema. No-one younger than 18 may rent or buy an ‘18’ rated video work

Initial ideas- Horror

Our initial idea is to make a horror film as it is relativley simple to produce and storyboard. They also hit are age group which is what we want. There are also many different areas in which we could film a horror for example the forest or a house. The costumes will also be relativley cheap which would benefit us as a group as we don't want to break the bank for this film. Before we decide upon a horror type we will do some market research to find out which is the most popular. From the questionnaire we will also find out the setting and costumes to use from our target audience.
